Shan Williams

Shan Williams, a native of Cardigan, West Wales, is a founding member of 4CG, a community organization dedicated to the development and economic revitalization of Cardigan and its surrounding areas. Established to counteract the influence of
national developers and chain stores, 4CG focuses on enhancing local trade and preserving the town's unique character. At the age of 21, Shan launched her own hairdressing business and, by 23, had converted her first property into a shop with four flats. Her entrepreneurial spirit led her to expand her property portfolio to include over ten letting units, a shop, and three smallholdings, alongside managing a small caravan and camping site.

 

In addition to her business ventures, Shan is actively
involved in community initiatives. Shan was a Cardigan town council from 2008 to 2021, serving as Mayor from 2019-2020. Through her leadership and commitment, Shan Williams continues to play a pivotal role in fostering community spirit and
economic growth in Cardigan.
