Our second tenant will move into the cottage in the middle of February. There is a
little bit more painting to do and then, hopefully, a contented tenant.
All of the electrical wiring in the chapel, the vestry and the cottage has been checked
and certified and the buildings are now watertight so no more soggy carpets or water
dripping on you as you wander around.
Whilst we still have no news about the CADW grant, we have been successful in
getting a Ceredigion Age Friendly grant to help develop a dementia support group.
We hope to have the group up and running by the beginning of April.
You provided us with a number of suggestions for colours for the walls, inner and
outer at the meeting we held in the chapel late last year. We are now talking to
CADW and the county heritage office about what colour and types of paint are
permissible in line with the building’s Grade II status.
We are currently working on plans for the front fascia of the chapel to be cleaned,
repaired and painted in time for the eisteddfod in August. Then as ever, we would be
grateful for any volunteers in preparing the buildings for the great event.

Thanks to all of you for your support and particularly those of you who helped to
clean up after those pigeons!
