October 2025 Tabernacle Updates

Now that the ceilings above the two entrance doors to the tabernacl have been repaired, we are moving on to the next stage.

This is refurbishing the cottage so that a tenant can move in. if all goes to the plan the cottage works will be completed by the end of the month.

We are looking for a tenant so if know of someone please tell us.

The next item on the refurbish list is to remove the pigeon droppings and the pigeons themselves from the vestry so that we can make the vestry usable. This is specialist work due to the health issues. When this is completed, we can repair the ceilings and make this usable as well.

In the tabernacle itself we have the slates to be replaced where they have been loosened by time and decline. That work is under way and ,when complete, we can start looking at restoring  and repairing the interior.

May we say again how grateful we are to all of you for your support not to those of you who bought shares but those who volunteered their time to clear weeds and debris, to paint and decorate  and all those myriad other things that need doing.
